Norway Post deployed a multi-application smart card for an employee ID. The credential is used for physical access, discounts on railways, payments in canteens and access to vehicles. It’s also being used for secure printing and scanning in the office as well as time and attendance.

Pontiac, Mich.-based Star EMS taps Brivo Systems for secure physical access for its more than 200 employees. The system not only enables physical access but is also integrated into the time and attendance solution to keep track of employee hours.

MorphoTrak partnered with Identity One to deliver a time & attendance and biometric access control system to a North American freight railroad company; HID Global and Proxama, created a solution enabling deployment of secure mobile web-based coupon and loyalty schemes; and Gemalto launched Sealys Color in Polycarbonate, a system that enables high-quality color photographs to be permanently embedded into polycarbonate documents such as IDs, driving licenses and passports.
