Zebra Enterprise Solutions announced the launch of a new operating solution designed for terminals that move less than 120,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) per year – TEU being is a standard measurement in terminal transport.
The Navis Argo will look to offer these lower-volume terminals cost-effective, enterprise-level software and reduce the disadvantages small operations typically come across when compared to their larger counterparts.
The solution has enhanced features for full gate integration, and includes an equipment control module for allowing operation plans to be seamlessly integrated with container handling equipment such as forklifts and reach stackers.
Navis Argo is based on a Java RTC infrastructure, which enables terminals to acquire additional modules and scale up as their business grows.
The operating solution also employs a simple interface that makes it both easy and affordable to maintain.
