Webinar: Perishable traceability with RFID

Intelleflex will sponsor a webinar on the use of RFID technology in food safety. Hosted by Food Logistics Magazine, the webinar will address how RFID can be used in tracking perishables throughout the cold chain to improve product traceability and address regulations of the recently enacted Food Safety Modernization Act.
The webinar will also explain how pallet-level, in-transit temperature monitoring is being utilized by the State of Hawaii and others to address new regulations by improving product traceability, and increasing quality of perishables and profitability for growers, packers, shippers and retailers.
Panelists include Dr. John Ryan from the State of Hawaii, Department of Agriculture who specializes in closed-loop quality control systems employing real-time traceability and is currently implementing Hawaii’s RFID traceability and State Food Safety Certification system. Panelists from both Intelleflex and Food Logisitcs will also be on hand to discuss new developments and processes for monitoring food safety.
