VASCO Data Security International Inc. released two products aimed at strengthening its PKI portfolio, DIGIPASS KEY 202 and CertiID Suite 3.4.3.
The new version of CertiID Suite includes DIGIPASS CertiID Middleware that offers strong two-factor authentication and non-repudiation of transactions and data. It also has a secure CD-ROM update solution so that customer can update read-only content of the DIGIPASS KEY CD-ROM drive using VASCO’s assistance or by completing it himself through manual or automated downloads.
This update eliminates the need to replace deployed authentication devices in the field whenever the PKI infrastructure needs to be developed.
VASCO has also embedded the CertiID software into DIGIPAS KEY 200, DIGIPASS 860 and DIGIPASS KEY 202, offering protection through plug and play devices. It now supports signature compliance recommended by European law and is compliant with the European Citizen Card.
The DIGIPASS KEY 202 combines PKI technology with secure USB mass storage to create a PKI authentication device based on SIM card technology. Using SIM cards as form factors allows companies to personalize end-user devices rather than having to personalize every device before distribution of them. The key can be used for secure remote access, disk encryption, signing data transactions, desktop and application sign-in and secure mobile data storage.
VASCO will display these new products at the CIAB show in Sao Paulo, Brazil from June 20 to 22.
