category: RFID
UPM Raflatac has introduced four newly enhanced RFID tags to meet the demands of a range of applications. The updated UHF tags are all EPC Class1 Gen2 compatible and are now equipped with Impinj’s Monza3 ICs.
The new products include an updated DogBone tag, designed as a high-end general purpose tag suitable for use in a variety of supply chain management solutions including pallet and case tracking. For the same category of usage, but at a more cost-efficient price level, there is the smaller ShortDipole. The more specialized Frog tag is orientation insensitive, offering an alternative for applications where inlay orientation can not be controlled.
Finally, UPM Raflatac is offering a new item-level tag, the Gem, for accessories and cosmetic applications. The Gem is designed for inventory management of small goods, including jewellery and watches.
All four new tags are available now.
