UPM RFID introduced two inlays featuring the NXP UCODE G2iL chip: the UPM Stamp near field ultra-high frequency inlay and UPM Jewel ultra-high frequency inlay.
The UPM Stamp and UPM Jewel are suitable for space-constrained products such as electronic devices or small form-factor fashion and jewelry items. The tags are both EPC Gen2 and ISO 1800-6C protocol compliant.
Additionally, UPM is upgrading several products to the NXP UCODE G2iM ultra-high frequency chip, equipped with additional memory to enable UPM RFID to offer higher read range tags with a flexible memory structure for markets including automotive or industrial.
UPM RFID products with the new NXP UCODE G2iM chip include the UPM Belt, UPM DogBone, UPM ShortDipole, UPM Web and UPM MiniWeb.
