Turkish university to implement Smart Campus system

An Istanbul, Turkey university will deploy contactless cards for campus-wide integration of access control, time and attendance, and e-wallet applications. SuperCom Ltd., with offices in Israel, the U.S., and Hong Kong, will provide the contactless cards, readers/writers, and the smart printers.
SuperCom Announces Agreement With Major Turkish University to Provide a Smart Campus Access Control System
NEW YORK and RA’ANANA, Israel, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ – SuperCom Ltd. (Euronext: SUP) a leading smart card and e-ID technology integrator and solutions provider serving governmental and commercial markets, announced today that the Company has signed a contract with a major university in Istanbul, Turkey to provide “Smart Campus,” a smart card-based campus control system by the end of 2004.
Under the terms of the agreement that was conducted through a distributor, SuperCom will provide a contactless smart-card campus system, which includes the integration of access control, time and attendance and e-wallet applications. The Company will provide contactless personalized cards and readers/writers, bill and money loaders and smart printers. The project, which begins immediately, will roll out in three phases with final delivery by the end of 2004.
