Tumbleweed Communications, a digital security and identity authentication company, has announced that its identity validation suite, called Validation Authority, is now compatible with BlackBerry smart phones.
The new security available for BlackBerry devices enables a user to require digital certificate authentication for access to a number of applications including e-mail and secured Web sites. Multiple U.S. government agencies including the Department of Defense and all four branches of the military have already deployed the software to their BlackBerry users.
