Jeff Carter, chief strategy officer at iris-based identity management and technology provider EyeLock Corp. gave a presentation at TEDxEast about the nature of identity and the eye’s part in the authentication process.
Carter’s speech used technology to examine how people think about the authentication process and protecting identities in a world where the concept of identity is constantly changing.
The lecture presented how the eye could be used as a viable identifier for both physical and digital identification needs in a variety of situations, including banking, airport security, digital networks and retail transactions, yet still protect a person’s privacy.
Carter’s nine-minute presentation is now available online.
