TfL looks to issue unified contactless transit pass for NY, Paris, London

Transport for London (TfL) is in talks with its American, Australian and European partners about issuing a single contactless card for Paris, New York, Boston, Chicago, Sydney and Manchester’s local transit networks, according to telegraph.co.uk.
The aim of the project is to develop a standardized single pass that would spare the millions of tourists and travelers staying in major cities the hassle of buying a local transit card.
According to telegraph.co.uk, the pass could be issued within two years, representing a “big step” for London’s contactless card provider Oystercard, and contactless payment at large.
