TagMaster portable handheld for parking applications

TagMaster launched the HR-2 handheld reader designed for use in a wide range of environments where ID-tags need to be verified and recorded such as vehicle identity, security, access management and parking applications.
The portable handheld reader provides fully mobile read and write capabilities for TagMaster’s range of 2.5 GHz ID-tags, and is based on the LR-series hardware platform which includes, Ethernet TCP/IP, RS232 connections, and USB.
Via the built-in Web interface, the HR-2 allows direct user access to adjust settings and gain access to stored event logs. The handheld is synchronized daily with a back-end database, to get batch updates of data so parking administrators always have up-to-date parking information. Each handheld can hold information up to 5000 monthly parker’s information.
With its robust deign, the HR-2 Reader also provides a 2 meter standard read-range which can be adjusted using the touch screen configuration menu. Powered by Lithium-ion batteries, utilizing a default stand-by mode, the HR-2 can be operated for a full 10 hour work shift.
