Market research firm Paradigm Sample released the results of its new mobile survey stating that 71% of convenience store customers would be willing to pay for their purchases with mobile wallets through their phones or tablets.
Paradigm conducted the survey to help companies understand the potential acceptance of mobile payments and mobile banking. Customers have started accepting more mobile financial activities, which may lead to greater acceptance of mobile wallets. In the convenience store setting, this may lead to quicker payments and more convenience.
Paradigm’s research has found that adoption has been greater in the Northeast and West, but early adoption has been happening in all major U.S. Census regions.
