Steria, Neology partners to bring RFID solutions to India

Steria and Neology announced a partnership to bring RFID solutions to the Indian market. The two will focus on developing RFID solutions for various areas including vehicle and people identification and health care amongst other areas.
The combination of Neology’s RFID technology integrated with IT services from Steria looks to bring India improvements in the country’s transportation infrastructure, addressing the Government’s already accepted need for an electronic tolling system.
The duo will also design and deliver solutions for India’s pharmaceutical industry, providing a method to track the movement of critical drugs and medicines – avoiding expired drugs, guaranteeing correct use by the correct consumer, and cracking down on counterfeit drugs.
