HierStar becomes the exclusive distributor of Flexion® battery in Asian markets. Solicore Pairs with HierStar to Power Chinese Thin Card Electronics Market
LAKELAND, Fla. — Solicore has entered into an exclusive three-year, multi-million unit distribution agreement with HierStar, a leading Chinese contract manufacturer, to provide their paper-thin ultra-flexible Flexion® battery for use in display card applications such as one time password (OTP) cards. OTP cards generate unique passwords with each use, adding valuable security to online banking, Smart Card and OTP-enabled credit and debit card transactions.
This significant agreement marks Solicore’s entry into the Asian market. With hundreds of sales agents in four regions and thirty-four cities, HierStar provides Solicore with access to the entire Chinese market. HierStar will have exclusive distribution rights for all OTP card business originating in China and non-exclusive distribution rights to all other vertical markets in China.
