SMARTRAC N.V., a manufacturer and supplier of RFID transponders, has added Dual Frequency PRELAM to its product portfolio. The pre-laminated inlays are available in various hybrid combinations of the frequencies LF, HF and UHF.
PRELAM stands for pre-laminated. This means that the single layers are fused together under pressure and high temperature in lamination press machinery after the electronic parts have been embedded into the carrier material and assembled. This pre-laminated or PRELAM structure is used for making pre-printed cards with security features using standard card production processes.
SMARTRAC Dual Frequency PRELAM products are suited for applications such as access control, electronic payment, automated fare collection, border crossing as well as for multipurpose applications in the standard card format.
The products can be made from PVC, PC or PET-G and are available in various combinations of the frequencies LF, HF and UHF and with several chip sets. In addition, the transponders are manufactured in various dimensions up to 525×650 millimeters as well as in customer-specific formats. This makes them a flexible, convenient and efficient solution.
SMARTRAC passive Dual Frequency PRELAM products are compliant with the ISO 11784, ISO 11785, ISO 14443 and ISO 18000 standards applicable to the respective frequencies.
