E-security solutions provider Cryptomathic announced that it has joined with Smart Card Alliance and its EMV Migration Forum, to bolster secure chip-based technology adoption efforts in the United States.

With a background in providing e-security solutions to a number of sectors, Cryptomathic will bring experience with regards to enhancing the security and integrity of data on secure chip technology — specifically the deployment and management of EMV payments.

Cryptomathic also has experience in IP, cloud and virtualized chip space and will employ this knowledge to mobility in payments within the SCA.

Cryptomathic maintains its own mobile payments solution in the form of the Cryptomathic Cloud Wallet— a virtual chip-card platform that enables for protection of end-users’ and applications’ cryptographic keys through the combination of BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and FIPS 140-2, Level 3 or higher compliant back-end devices.

Providing solutions to firms across the business spectrum including finance, smart card, digital rights management and government, Cryptomathic has forged solutions for e-banking, PKI initiatives, card personalization, ePassport, card issuing, and advanced key management.
