Senture Security Solutions has been selected by Lockheed Martin to provide TWIC deployment and enrollment services. Under the terms of the subcontract, Senture will establish enrollment centers within close proximity to maritime ports, where applicants will apply and enroll for their secure credential. Senture is a GSA-certified vendor for HSPD-12 Deployment Services under SIN 132-62.
Senture Awarded Subcontract to Support TWIC Implementation
CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Senture Security Solutions, LLC, (www.senture.com), a full service security solutions provider, announced today that it was selected by Lockheed Martin to provide TWIC deployment and enrollment services. To further secure the nation’s transportation system, the TWIC program involves the rapid, nationwide deployment of biometric identification credentials called TWICs to maritime workers.
The TWIC will enhance port security by requiring workers with unescorted access to secure areas of regulated vessels and maritime facilities to successfully complete a security threat assessment and have this biometric credential.

Under the terms of the subcontract, Senture will establish enrollment centers within close proximity to maritime ports, where applicants will apply and enroll for their secure credential.
Senture employees have helped deploy the DoD Common Access Card (CAC); the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) during the Prototype Phase; participated in Winter Fox, a First Responder exercise held in February 2006; and the Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12 Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential during the first phase of the GSA Shared Services Contract. Senture is a GSA-certified vendor for HSPD-12 Deployment Services under SIN 132-62.
