Colorado-based start up Sentegra has developed a new mobile wallet platform that provides secure mobile payment, authentication and certification capabilities and digital ticketing, according to Mobile Beat.
The “meWallet” system is supported by Sentegra’s “idGadget” line of devices, which the company says are the first NFC products that can both send and receive data with existing NFC products, allowing for real-time interactive communication between consumers and merchants.
idGadgets are also equipped with biometric technology for secure authentication and are capable of being attached to any Bluetooth-enabled mobile device to give it m-wallet capabilities.
Mobile Beat says the company is currently in discussions with mobile manufacturers to embed meWallet hardware into new devices.
