SBI chooses Arcot for secure online payments

Arcot Systems, a provider of secure electronic payment solutions, has announced that it has been chosen by SBI Cards, an India-based credit card issuer, to provide a solution for secure online shopping for their cardholders.
The system specified in the agreement is the Arcot TransFort 3-D Secure and is expected to protect cardholders as well as online merchants from fraud.
SBI is joining the group of more than 12,000 issuing banks that employ Arcot 3-D Secure solutions. Additionally, SBI’s cardholders are joining a network of more that 30 million users with access to over 200,000 online merchants that offer an Arcot security solution.
