RiTech International, a developer of biometric solutions, has announced the development of a new USB flash drive that allows for dual fingerprint recognition security.
The new data storage option, called Signature, also touts other security features such as brute force hacking prevention measures through its Entry Guard and Self-Destruct features.
The Entry Guard is simply a feature that powers down the device following three failed login attempts, while the Self-Destruct feature will erase all data contained on the drive after 21 failed login attempts.
RiTech developed the Signature flash drive for use by high-level corporate departments or other market segments that have a strong need for high-level security in mobile data storage.
