Alien Technology, an RFID label-maker and then some, is deep into its collaboration with Microsoft at its RFID Solutions Center in Dayton, Ohio. The point? To drive enterprise-ready applications of RFID technology for mutual customers – in the combined Microsoft BizTalk RFID Infrastructure and Alien hardware platform.

Alien Technology to Collaborate With Microsoft at the RFID Solutions Center, Dayton; Collaboration to Drive Enterprise-Ready Applications of RFID Technology Utilizing Microsoft BizTalk RFID Infrastructure and Alien Hardware Platform
MORGAN HILL, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–June 6, 2006–Alien Technology Corporation today announced that it will collaborate with Microsoft Corporation on the implementation of enterprise-ready RFID solutions for mutual customers and industry participants at the recently opened RFID Solutions Center, Dayton. Additionally, Microsoft will support the RFID Solutions Center(SM), a division of Alien Technology, by equipping it with the latest versions of Microsoft BizTalk RFID software, designed to enable cost-effective, plug-and-play deployment of RFID capabilities and simplified management of RFID data across the enterprise.
Alien is currently a member of the Microsoft Partner Advisory Council on RFID and Microsoft’s support for the RFID Solutions Center, Dayton and the opportunities for collaboration it enables, extends and broadens the companies’ existing relationship.
