Retica demonstrates multi-modal system

Retica Systems, a developer of biometric technology, has announced that they will demonstrate the latest release from their Eagle-Eyes line of biometric devices at the 2009 Annual Biometrics and Forensics Summit in California. The new Eagle-Eyes device is called the GEN3 Eagle-Eyes 2.5-10m and is capable of both iris and facial capture from long distances.
In addition to the Eagle-Eyes device, Retica also offers an Eagle-Eyes software development kit that can be combined with their Rapid-Match matching algorithm software development kit and Mobile-Eyes dual iris capture software development kit for even higher performance out of the biometric system. The Eagle-Eyes system is capable of video surveillance, object detection and tracking, precision pointing and face and dual iris capture via its pan-tilt unit and zoom lens.
