Queralt LLC, a Connecticut-based provider of tracking solutions, has announced the availability of an RFID-enabled solution for the management of consignment inventory.
With Queralt’s Hosted RFID Consignment Solution in place, each time a RFID-tagged product in a consignment inventory is removed, the application takes action. The vendor of the consignment item is notified of the change via an activity report, for billing and inventory update purposes. The solution user can view inventory and any activities through a Web-accessed dashboard, and can also instruct the system to automatically update their CRM or ERP systems.
“The greatest challenge in consignment sales is the lack of inventory visibility and its daily activity,” says Michael Queralt, managing director of Queralt LLC. “Currently our customers are utilizing the solution to improve their inventory and invoicing turns, while reducing their exposure on expired or old inventory.”
The Queralt solution is designed to work within a user’s established inventory system, requiring minimum infrastructure changes. The application also can use active or passive RFID technology, depending on the needs of the user. The solution is available on a subscription basis.
