GAO RFID announced its ultra-high frequency passive RFID animal tag operating at a frequency range of 860MHz to 960MHz for global use.
Suitable for tracking any medium to large sized livestock the RFID tag, model 116034, is widely used in animal monitoring to record information regarding an animal’s feeding, location and vaccination. The animal tracking tag also has an IP67 protection rating for suitability in harsh environments.
This passive animal ear tag offers robust performance over the ultra-high frequency bandwidth and operates reliably in dense reader environments while maintaining an optimum read range.
It boasts maximum data retention of ten years and offers a custom command set that includes Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) and Read Protection, which ensures easy, secure communication between the transponder and RFID readers.
