New Jersey school district wants student ID cards to provide access to library

Students at a Berkeley, N.J. school district are about to receive what many collegians already enjoy–a combo library and student ID card. The Central Regional School District is proposing to print an Ocean County Library card on the back of each student’s identification card.
If an agreement between the school district and the county library is approved, Central Regional students will not only have physical access to the holdings of the 21-branch library system, but also have online access to the many resources there.
