Neurotechnology develops new multimodal SDK

Neurotechnology has announced the release of a new software development kit (SDK) called MegaMatcher 4.0 that combines the latest versions of many companies other single mode biometric solutions to create a multimodal one.
MegaMatcher utilizes the latest versions of Neurotechnology’s fingerprint software, Verifinger; iris recognition software, VeriEye, facial recognition software, VeriLook and palmprint identity verification software.
Among some of the new features for both the MegaMatcher as well the individual component pieces includes support for Java programming in addition to .NET and C/C++ programming languages as well as support for multiple types of fingerprint scanners, palmprint scanners, iris scanners and cameras both old and new.
Other upgrades to the software include new matching algorithms that increase speed and reliability while also reducing false rejection rates.
