Motorola to embed all hand held computers with RFID tags

Motorola has announced that it will embed RFID tags in all future handheld computer models.
The passive UHF RFID tags, which will be implanted in the computers’ handles, will enable a company to track each device’s location in storage rooms and distribution centers, ensuring that none go missing.
The first hand held computers under the policy are the bar code scanning MC3100s, which Motorola released last week.
