This year’s Open Mobile Summit in London will focus on NFC and the mobile wallet.
The conference, held in early June, will feature a segment called ‘Opening the mobile wallet,’ in which the panel of industry CEO’s and senior strategists will examine the key business drivers of mobile contactless payment, as well as its real-life applications and revenue opportunities.
In additional sessions, mobile heads of eBay, Kraft Foods, Groupon, Travelocity, Trip advisor and more explore the evolution of mobile advertising and mobile commerce.
“As Internet and wireless worlds collide, we provide an intimate networking forum for global business leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs to meet,” said executive producer Robin Batt. “The result is a highly charged brainstorming session that sheds light on the new revenue opportunities and connects the future leaders of the open mobile Internet.”
Featured speakers at this year’s Open Mobile Summit include: Stephen Elop, CEO, Nokia; Olaf Swantee, EVP, Orange; Peter Vesterbacka, Founder, Rovio; David Ko, SVP, Zynga; Kevin Lynch CTO Adobe; Daniel Gurolla, VP Group Strategy at Orange/France Telecom; Rene Batsford, Head of IT EAT; Luis Uguina, Head of Digital at Spanish bank BBVA.
