Metalcraft introduced its latest RFID windshield tag, a new KSW Microtec WindSpeed RFID inlay coupled with the Impinj Monza 4 RFID tag chip family for improved vehicle applications.
This latest RFID windshield tag has been engineered to deliver extended read range, memory and privacy. The passive RFID label provides a read ranger over 30 feet and supports 496 bits of EPC memory and 512 bits of user memory.
The standard RFID windshield tag is a 4 x 1-inch label that can be placed on the interior of automobile windshield and is printed on both sides for bar code and the other content like a logo or disclaimer.
Metalcraft’s construction encapsulates the inlay between thin layers of polyester which protects and reduces the effects of electrostatic discharge while the adhesive protects against the harmful UV rays – no foam standoffs needed.
