MaxID solution gets FBI certification

MaxID Corp, a developer of biometric technology solutions, has announced its iDL500 multimodal biometric reader has been granted two new certifications by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The two new certifications for the iDL500 are the EBTS Appendix F Mobile ID SAP20 using Personal Identity Verification Single Finger Capture Device Specifications and the Personal Identity Verification Single Finger Capture Device Specifications. In addition to its fingerprint reading capabilities, the iDL500 can also read contact and contactless cards, bar codes and optical magnetic swipe and can communicate over a number of wireless communication technologies such as 3G, GPS and WiFi.
