Malaysia Tests Simens-Intel RFID BloodBank Manager

Three Malaysian medical institutions are testing out an RFID system for blood banks, according to a news report.
The University Malaya Medical Centre, Penang Adventist Hospital and the National Blood Bank are testing the system that will better the tracking of blood bags, reports The Star Online.
This newly developed RFID solution, is called BloodBank Manager. It was was jointly developed by Siemens Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Intel MSC Sdn Bhd over a six-month period.
