SecuGen, a developer of biometric solutions, has announced that it has been chosen by technology developer Lucky Technologies to provide optical fingerprint devices to be integrated into Lucky’s iGuard. The iGuard is to serve as a commercial solution for physical access control and time and attendance tracking.

In addition to utilizing fingerprints for authenticating individuals, the iGuard will also be capable of utilizing smart cards due to its inclusion of Mifare smart card technology.
