LogiTag Systems, a provider of RFID based solutions for health care, announced that it will demonstrate the StockBox RFID inventory management system and Spacesaver’s FrameWRX storage system at the Healthcare Information and Management System Society’s (HIMSS) annual conference.
StockBox, developed through collaboration between Spacesaver and LogiTag, is a materials management system, incorporating RFID technology to facilitate FIFO (first in, first out) inventory turns and reduce expired stock for those items with a shelf life. It also helps ensure fewer stock-outs and helps optimize inventory levels, which results in an overall lower inventory investment.
The StockBox can be further enhanced by combining it with Spacesaver’s FrameWRX Storage System to create the single flexible, efficient and complete storage and materials management solution. The FrameWRX Storage System is outfitted with various accessories, including shelves, work surfaces, wire baskets and EZ Rail, which supports plastic bins, and hanging pegs.
All accessories are can be installed and adjusted without the use of tools or fasteners. The movable FrameWRX HD option is compatible with all the same accessories, and by saving an aisle, provides extremely dense storage capacity in a small footprint.
LogiTag will be in booth #8646 at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society’s (HIMSS) annual conference and convention in New Orleans, March 3 – 7, 2013.
