LEGIC adds four companies to partnership network

Swiss company LEGIC Identsystems, a developer of contactless smart card technology for identification purposes, has extended its partner network to include one Czech and three German companies. These include Warok, Maxicard, PP high tech and LUX-IDent. The partnerships all involve use of products produced by LEGIC.
German-based Warok is integrating the LEGIC advant reader module in Psion Teklogix’s handheld Workabout PRO G2 computer, offering contactless identification systems to meet most security demands, such as access control.
Maxicard, a German company specializing in ID card printers, plans to use LEGIC technology in its transponder cards. With LEGIC’s integrated, universal technology platform, the authorization management can be covered for up to 127 different applications, such as access control, time and attendance, cashless payment, e-ticketing, IT access and biometric high security uses. This opens up more market opportunities for the company.
PP high tech, also based in Germany, will now have exclusive access to LEGIC Technology, enhancing its contactless identification market.
LUX-IDent, a Czech specialist in the production of RFID transponders, will now be able to tap LEGIC’s smart card technology with its up to 127 applications, all-in-one card or other credentials, for security and multi-functional applications.
LUX-IDent offers many different products suitable for all kinds of uses in the areas of access control, public transport, industry and logistics, e.g. contactless cards, key fobs or wrist bands, as well as semi-finished, pre-laminated inlays for local card or tag production/personalization, air coils, disc tags and other customized designs and items.
