Industry veteran John Doyle has joined ID solutions provider Digital Identification Solutions’ North American sales team. Doyle has nearly four decades of imaging experience in a variety of industries and companies. Most recently, he was OEM manager of sales for CCD and spectrographic cameras at Princeton Instruments in Trenton, N.J.
He has also worked with Datacard Group in Minnetonka, Minn., where he worked with imaging on smart cards, public key cryptography, and biometrics. Doyle also served as vice president of sales and marketing for Edicon, an Eastman Kodak company located in Rochester, N.Y., where he helped launch that organization into the photo identification business.
As a member of Digital Identification’s sales team, Doyle will be the primary contact for business development related to key government markets, such as driver license, federal and state agencies, large system integrators and specific OEMs.
The company says Doyle’s market knowledge and industry expertise with imaging systems will be a major asset as it expands into more government projects with its portfolio of EDIsecure imaging products and printing solutions.
