SecuGen, a developer of biometric solutions specializing in fingerprint recognition technology, has announced that they have been chosen by South Africa-based biometric developer iPulse to provide a fingerprint module to serve as the core engine for iPulse’s iPB6 biometric reader. The iPB6 is designed for access control and is capable of withstanding extreme environments due to its rugged build.
One of the reasons iPulse selected SecuGen was due to iPulse’s interest in having backwards compatibility with their older products and SecuGen’s fingerprint readers also have backwards compatibility. In addition to these attributes, the iPB6 also touts a 2.2″ TF screen and support for up to 27 languages.
