iPhone 5 to get NFC after all?

Contrary to recent rumors the iPhone 5 may come equipped with NFC technology after all, according to Forbes blogger Elizabeth Woyke.
An unnamed entrepreneur in the NFC industry told Woyke that NFC is still on the table for the iPhone 5, citing a good friend at Apple. Although second-hand, Woyke says the source is reliable. We’ll find out for sure when the Apple launches the handset this summer.
Additionally, Apple is reportedly working on another NFC service that would let users wirelessly log in to guest computers and other Apple devices using an NFC-equipped iPhone.
According to another unnamed source, the service loads the user’s apps from his or her iPhone directly to the device it’s being paired with. The source at Cult of Mac says the service, if it ever comes out, will be rolled into Lion OS.
