Bridge Community Bank of Mechanicsville, Iowa, will be implementing digital representations as a way to add protection to customer accounts, reports KCRG.
Bridge has contracted with TASCET Inc. to use its Financial ICONN system. Account holders visit the bank to create their own Financial ICONN, which consists of personal identifying information, two digital fingerprints and a digital photograph. The bank sends the information to TASCET, which is responsible for creating the customer’s digital identity.
The Financial ICONN contains a 16-digit financial security number that’s embedded into the account and matches up with the account holder’s fingerprints and digital images upon login.
