category: Contactless
Collis has announced that its Terminal Function Test Tool (FTT) has been qualified to implement Interac Association’s “Reader Terminal Interoperability and Confidence Test Guide.”
According to Collis, the Terminal FTT incorporates all the tests specified in the guide, which is designed to ensure that a terminal supporting both contact and contactless interfaces is compliant with the Dual Interface (DI) specifications put forth by Interac.
With the Terminal FTT, it is possible to detect interoperability issues before the terminal is deployed in the field, thus reducing time to market. Now that the solution is certified by Interac, log files generated by the Terminal FTT can be sent directly to Interac Association for DI certification.
According to Collis, the Terminal FTT will continue to support the “Acquirer Test Package” and the “Terminal Application Tests” for contact interface.
