Intelligent InSites has incorporated Pentaho Corporation’s business analytics into its platform in an effort to automate real-time location systems (RTLS) data analysis and provide enhanced business intelligence tools for health care providers.
The platform helps hospitals to manage their patient flow by tracking patients’ progress from admission to discharge. And with the addition of Pentaho, hospitals and health care providers using Intelligent InSites can perform analysis on their RTLS and RFID data, uncover trends and gain actionable intelligence.
Intelligent InSites is an asset management solution enabling hospitals to analyze data from RTLS and RFID tags on medical equipment, such as wheelchairs or IV infusion pumps. The integrated platform further enables hospitals to analyze processes, identify operational bottlenecks, shorten patients’ length of stay, and improve patient safety and patient satisfaction.
Location is monitored at all times so that hospitals can make better use of the assets they already have, eliminating unnecessary purchases and ensuring equipment is available when needed.
