INSIDE Secure has launched its ComboPulse NFC system-in-package (SiP) solution.
ComboPulse is a solution that makes adding NFC functionality to a broad range of mainstream consumer electronic products easy and inexpensive. ComboPulse has the ability to bring NFC to tablets, entry-level mobile phones, personal media players and other smart mobile devices.
The ComboPulse SiP requires no additional hardware, no external antenna and no tuning, enabling for NFC card emulation as well as peer-to-peer functions to mobile products at a lower cost.
ComboPulse’s NFC card emulation capability enables mobile devices to be used like contactless smart cards, communicating with standard contactless point-of-sale terminals to make purchases, validate tickets and coupons, collect loyalty points and conduct secure functions like banking transactions.
ComboPulse’s peer-to-peer (P2P) functionality simplifies Bluetooth and Wi-Fi pairing between consumer electronic devices, and can be used to easily transfer content or information with any NFC Forum-compliant device— TVs, cameras, security systems or other home devices.
Working samples of INSIDE Secure’s ComboPulse SiP NFC solution will be available in March while pricing information can be found by contacting INSIDE Secure.
