Ingenico launches new line of portable payment terminals

Ingenico will release its new iWL200 series of contactless portable payment terminals at the Cartes 2010 trade show in Paris.
Compliant with PCI PTS v2 security standards for contact transactions or PayPass and payWave for contactless, the iWL200 range (iWL220, iWL250 and iWL280) is equipped with several card readers, including swipe, chip and contactless, as well as a signature capture function (iWL280 only).
According to Ingenico, the iWL range supports numerous applications and services available on the Telium2 platform, facilitating card payments in all types of situations.
The devices also feature a range of connectivity options, including GPRS or Bluetooth in the terminal, or a combination of the two (iWL280 only), as well as PSTN and Ethernet connections for the base.
