Massachusetts-based Imprivata, a health care-oriented access and collaboration provider, has launched its Imprivata Developer Program, enabling third-party vendors to integrate software and hardware with Imprivata OneSign. In doing so, vendors can add Imprivata’s No Click Access for strong authentication and single sign-on.
The Imprivata Developer Program features a toolkit that includes access to its OneSign ProveID Software Developer Kit, training, support and certification program. The kit provides out of the box support for a number of authentication modalities and devices, automated management of password changes, policy engines, event logging and reporting.
For the health care field, the program provides No Click Access for clinical applications, medical devices, bedside terminals, medication dispensing cabinets, printers and printing services, Positive ID and non-Windows endpoints.
Imprivata’s roster of ProveID partners includes GE Centricity, McKesson, Siemens Medical Solutions, Teradici and Wyse.
