The Central Illinois Health System has implemented two iRISupply Mobile Cart solutions from the RFID and automation technologies provider, Mobile Aspects.
iRISupply Mobile Cart is a portable RFID enabled extension of Mobile Aspects core product iRISupply. With iRISupply, clinicians and operating room staff are provided secured product storage, automated workflows for product tracking and data on inventory status and product utilization.
The iRISupply Mobile Cart provides an on the go solution to support the management of medical devices and supply inventory within surgical care settings. It can be moved from room to room as needed to deliver the appropriate supplies to the point of care.
The unit can be deployed as either a procedure-based or product-based solution with its mobility supported through wireless network connectivity and a self contained battery. In addition, data collected and monitored tied into the iRIS data platform allowing real-time visibility to inventory status and automated alerts when inventory is low or devices are nearing expiration.
