IDS Worldwide wants its Bio-Track Identification Card and software to be part of the proposed immigration solution announced recently by President Bush. To make it happen, the company has dispatched lobbyists to Washington, D.C. to prove its case. The company also thinks its system could be part of the Transportation Worker Identification Credential program.
HLS to Send Lobbyists to Demonstrate Bio-Track ID Card to Washington, D.C.
ORLANDO, FL – IDS Worldwide, Inc. announced that the HLS Division will hire lobbyists to demonstrate the Bio-Track Identification Card and Software to decision makers in Washington D.C. IDS was previously invited to Washington, D.C. in December of 2005 to demonstrate this technology to a group of biometric security experts in the homeland security market sector. IDS was informed the technology demonstrated was one of the top two technologies in the world the biometric experts had seen demonstrated as a working model.
Recent current events, including President George Bush’s address to the nation regarding changes in the United States Immigration policies and enforcement make this technology more valuable than ever. HLS Bio-Track ID Card and Software Presentation can be seen in its entirety on the parent company’s website at www.ids-worldwide.com. Under Biometric Presentations box click on: Bio-TrackT Identification System Multimedia Presentation.
Numerous reports in the Wall Street Journal and major newspapers across the nation have also reported on a Homeland Security directive that 750,000 trade port workers also be issued a tamper proof identification card with biometric capabilities.
IDS software headquarters and HLS biometric headquarters have been located in Lahore, Pakistan since 2000. Pakistan is the only country in the world where every man, woman and child carries a biometric identification card like United States residents would carry a drivers license. This enables on the spot 100% identification by any government authority in real time. IDS HLS division developed this technology that includes on a magnetic strip, biometric fingerprint, digital signature, digital facial picture and the ability to include visa, passport or any other fields a government authority or issuing body would like to include on the card.
The news reports have placed the cost of issuing these cards at $139 per person. HLS demonstrated in Washington, D.C. to biometric experts in December 2005 that this card which exceeds the functionality called for by President Bush could be issued at a cost less than $20 per person including the software to track and update all cards issued.
HLS has become a leader in worldwide technology with the introduction of the highest encrypted biometric USB flash drive in the world and the bio-track identification card which was ahead of its time for deployment. HLS executives believe that it is prudent to use company resources to hire a team of lobbyists to restate the availability of this technology and a more economical deployment model.
