IBG announces round seven of biometric testing

The International Biometric Group (IBG), a biometric systems and consulting company, has announced that they will be starting round seven of itts Comparative Biometric Testing in mid-2009. The standards that IBG is testing for are ANSI INCITS and ISO/IEC.
Many different vendors depend on the testing performed by IBG to ascertain which system will meet their standards and needs. Participation in the testing costs a developer $40,000 and is open too nearly all varieties of end-to-end systems including fingerprint, iris, facial, multimodal and mobile biometric systems.
