Hirsch Electronic’s biometric security system, the Verification Station, has earned the editor’s choice top pick from Buildings magazine. Buildings is a publication that frequently looks at products that are beneficial for use by building owners.
The Verification Station operates as a check point or gate identity authenticator. By first registering a user’s prints into the system, an administrator may choose from any of twelve modes of access; anything from a simple fingerprint, to a fingerprint, card and access code may be used in order for the individual to gain access.
In addition to the Building magazine editor’s choice award, the Verification Station has also received the Security Industry Association’s New Product Showcase Award and has been placed on the TSA’s “Biometrics for Access Control” Qualified Products List.
