HID’s Holly Sacks promoted to executive vice president of marketing

Holly Sacks, with “a proven track record of increasing market share,” has been named HID’s executive vice president of marketing. Her role now expands to include product planning, life cycle management and program management for the Irvine, Calif.-based contactless access card and reader manufacturer.
IRVINE, Calif. – HID Corporation, the premier manufacturer of contactless access control cards and readers for the security industry, today announced that Holly Sacks has been promoted to executive vice president of Marketing. This promotion increases Ms. Sacks’ role to include the company’s product management functions including product planning, life cycle management, program management, and technology partner integration. In addition, she will maintain her current worldwide marketing and communications responsibilities for market research, advertising, web marketing, media relations, customer communications, trade events, promotional programs, and branding.

Prior to joining HID in September 2003, Ms. Sacks was vice president of marketing for Zebra Technologies Corporation, where she was responsible for worldwide marketing of plastic card printers for photo ID, security, and access control applications. Ms. Sacks’ background includes extensive experience in marketing communications, product management, channel marketing, and strategic planning at technology companies including Micropolis Corporation, Dataproducts, and Xerox Corporation.
