At this year’s Waste Expo conference, in Atlanta, HID Global unveiled a new ultra durable tag for metal waste and recycling containers.
The Bin Tag OM is designed for metal receptacles used for medical, chemical, and hazardous wastes, as well as general waste products. It can be mounted on containers of all shapes and sizes, including on plastic bins.
The Bin Tag OM can withstand temperatures that fluctuate from -40 degrees all the way to nearly 200 degrees Fahrenheit. It can also withstand harsh liquids such as salt water and oils.
The new product line looks to enable cities to improve waste operations by providing an easy and cost effective method of tracking waste and recycling containers.
