category: Government, Smart Cards
HID Global is showing off some of its new U.S. government products for PIV-enabled physical-logical access control at this week’s RSA Conference 2012 in San Francisco.
These include one employee credential that can provide secure physical and logical access to authorized facilities, networks, applications, devices and the cloud. This credential can be either a PIV or a PIV-I card. HID’s PIV card products can also work with existing physical access control systems and other infrastructure.
HID Global will also demonstrate its naviGO software that enables enterprise door access cards to bring strong authentication to the desktop and laptop, as well as a number of credential management and authentication enterprise products, including smart card and mobile tokens.
